Payment couldn’t be easier
What is GoCardless?
Gocardless are a company that collect direct debits for thousands of businesses – including Gleam Windows. It is an online tool which makes it ‘super’ easy for you to pay us by Direct Debit. GoCardless is our preferred payment method and can be set up in literally minutes. Payments are protected, and a refund guaranteed for payments taken fraudulently or in error. It’s safe, fast and one of the industry’s recognised names…
You only need to set up payment once – Complete an online form and, unlike with a bank transfer, cash, cheque or card payment, you won’t have to remember to pay next time. Which means no accidental disruptions to your service, subscription or membership.
You won’t ever need to update payment details – Unless you change bank accounts, you won’t have to worry about updating your payment details either (unlike, if your debit card expires, or is lost or stolen).
Paying through GoCardless gives you certainty – You’ll know exactly how much you’re paying and when it will come out, which can help with budgeting.
- Gleam Windows are a trusted reliable and value for money South Ribble and West Lancashire window cleaning service with absolute focus on service and professionalism. Our name is our reputation.

GoCardless only asks for payment after we have cleaned your windows and payment is collected 5 days after your clean. You will receive an email prior to your payment being taken informing you of the amount due and the date that the payment will be collected and you have full control as you would with any Direct Debit payment set up.
If there is a problem with the standard of the window cleaning, it needs to be reported within 3 days of cleaning and we’ll come back until you’re completely satisfied.
When arranged, gates must be left open the day of your clean. If the gate is locked and access cannot be gained to do a full clean, you will be charged the full price unless we can gain access another way.
Our pure water system works in all weathers, therefore we can clean your home/premises in all conditions without affecting quality, including medium rain and low temperatures, but excluding storms and strong winds.
Full payment must be received within 7 days of the invoice date (unless otherwise stated).
Late payments, will be charged interest at 2.5% a month while the account remains unpaid. We require you to pay our expenses and legal costs incurred in obtaining payment on an indemnity basis. We reserve the right to charge you £10 for administration, £10 for legal notices, £20 for returned payments, and any third-party costs involved in tracing you, returned cheques, debt collection and legal action. We also reserve the right to pass unpaid accounts to a debt collector/solicitor for recovery/legal action, to whom we may assign the debt and all rights without restriction.
Any data gathered from you about you or your company will not be disclosed to any third party.
Achieving optimum cleaning results may require 2/3 cleans. Detergent residues from previous traditional window cleaning methods may initially cause slight spotting. Leaching can also occur from trickle vents, beading and heavily soiled frames, however in most cases, this will cease after a couple of cleans once the dirt is removed fully from the frame areas.
Gleam Windows do not accept liability for damage caused by decorative or structural defects at your property, such as, but not limited to, ill fitting windows, doors, fascias, guttering, window/conservatory trims, unsecured windows and doors, leaking seals, loose stuck on lead, decorative bars stuck on glass, rotting frames, flaking paint, open/broken trickle vents, etc. The brushes we use are specifically designed for window cleaning and are made of a soft plastic head stock with nylon bristles. There is nothing on the brush which can scratch your glass. There are no metal parts on the brush.
We are window cleaners covering Penwortham to Ainsdale and everything in between. We use the water fed pole system, are reliable, well mannered and value for money.
